about Kazi


Kazi's passion for sharing the benefits of a wellness centered lifestyle can be traced back to his days at Harlem Hospital Center. In his role as a public health researcher/educator he spent considerable time interviewing and educating the community about the symptoms, treatment, and prevention of prostate and colorectal cancer. It was during this time that he realized how effective education and coaching can be in preventing and enhancing the treatment of many common and acute ailments. 

 At the ripe age of 40, Kazi began his journey as a wellness practitioner by becoming a nationally certified health-fitness instructor, followed by certifications in bodywork and health coaching. Over the last 20+ years he has gradually incorporated wisdom gained from his decades of personal practice in the self-healing/self-knowing arts of ancestral meditation medicine, Yara, qi gong, Taichi, and wilderness therapy, to evolve his humble wellness offering- Our Shaman Song. 

Dedicated to community service since he was a teen, Kazi is a founding board member of the New Jersey 501C3 Newark Center for Meditative Culture, where he also serves as Spiritual Director 

In his downtime, Kazi enjoys, good friends, good music, good movies, green spaces and getting pranked by his grandchildren.

How long will each coaching session be?

All coaching sessions will be kept to approx. 50 minutes.

Will I be required to do a cleanse as part of the coaching?

There is no one size fits all protocol in the Amazing Grace Coaching process.  Everyone is unique. You and I will collaborate to create an personalized action plan to specifically address your health and wellness goals.

I work mornings and evenings. Will you be able to fit me into your schedule?

I do have limited weekend hours. We will find a time that works best for both of us.


Will I need a computer to access your service?

No, you don't need a computer. As long as you have a mobile phone with internet service and a browser you can take advantage of my services.
